Who Is Annie Cruz?
Annie Cruz first became known as a performer in the adult entertainment industry, where she started in 2003. Over time her work grew far beyond that. She appeared in small mainstream film roles and in a music video. She took part in televised wrestling events, trained as a boxer, hosted a satellite radio show, and later ran podcasts about pro wrestling. She is also known as a comic book fan and cosplayer who goes to fan conventions.
Her stage name causes some confusion. Many people assume she is Hispanic because of the name “Cruz.” IMDb notes this mix-up directly. Other sources describe her as being of Filipino descent.
Annie Cruz Early Life and Family
Cruz was born and raised in Stockton, California, a mid-sized city in the Central Valley. According to FamousFix, she was born to Filipino parents and raised Catholic. Some newer sites add Castilian Spanish and Scottish roots, but those details come from a single source, so treat them with care.
What is known about her family:
- She is reported to have at least one younger sister.
- In November 2022 she shared photos of a trip with her mother and sister.
- Her parents’ names and jobs have not been shared publicly.
Be careful with sites that give long, detailed stories about her parents, such as what her father did for a living or how her mother spent her days. At least one popular page invents these details and also lists a net worth of $40 billion. No reliable source supports any of it. If a page gives a lot of family detail without a source, it is probably guessing.
Annie Cruz Education
Education is one of the most searched parts of her bio. Here is what is well documented.
High school. Cruz attended Brookside Christian High School in Stockton. FamousFix says she took part in cheerleading, drama club, yearbook and journalism. At 17, she graduated in the top five of her class. She accepted three scholarships among her other awards.
College. She then moved to San Rafael to attend Dominican University of California, a private Catholic college. She studied print journalism there. After about a year, she transferred to San Francisco State University. Reports say she left before finishing her degree, as her entertainment career took off.
The PhD claim. One recent site says she later earned a PhD in psychology. I could not find a primary source that confirms this, such as a university record, a dissertation listing, or her own official website. Until it is confirmed, treat it as an unverified claim. If you publish it, call it “reported.”
Her journalism background does show up later. She went on to host talk shows and podcasts, which fits her early training in writing and storytelling.
Annie Cruz Career
Starting out (2003–2004)
According to IMDb’s biography, Cruz entered the adult entertainment industry in October 2003 in San Francisco, a month before her 19th birthday. By March 2004 she had moved to Los Angeles. Her work from that point on included many film titles. One reference site lists more than 400.
Award nominations
Cruz has received several industry nominations. Reported nominations include:
- AVN Award nominations in 2007 and 2012
- An XBIZ nomination in 2012 for Performer Comeback of the Year
- An XRCO Award nomination
- A 2008 Adam Film Award, reported by one source
Because these come from fan and wiki-style pages, check them against the award organizations’ own records before relying on them.
Mainstream film and music
Beyond adult entertainment, Cruz picked up several mainstream credits:
- National Lampoon’s Teed Off Too (2006), a small credited role
- John Dies at the End, a cult horror-comedy
- The Night Crew, an action thriller
- Mope (2019), a drama based on the adult film industry, which is her best-known mainstream credit
- Stephen Malkmus’s 2011 music video for the song “Senator”
Wrestling and boxing
Cruz appeared in Women’s Extreme Wrestling, a wrestling promotion, and is also listed on pro wrestling wiki sites. She also trained as a boxer. Sources say she worked with coaching staff linked to Laila Ali. One report says she won two real boxing matches. She later stepped away from the ring to protect her acting career. In her own words, she had to choose one path. These boxing details come mostly from one site’s summary of her official biography.
Radio and podcasts
Her biggest media move was radio. One source says she hosted Dirtiest Girl in the World on SiriusXM’s Vivid Radio from 2013 to 2021, a run of about eight years. She also appeared as a guest on The Howard Stern Show. She later hosted wrestling podcasts, including Going Over and Wrestle Fetish.
Business ventures
In 2014 she met Dr. Don Davidson, a dating coach, at the AVN Awards in Las Vegas. Together they started DrDLifestyle.com, a men’s lifestyle and dating coaching site. Reports say they added a fitness speed-dating company and a condom brand in 2015.
Is she retired?
Sources disagree. IMDb says she retired from the adult industry in 2016. Other pages still list her as active or describe a current executive role in film distribution. No primary source I found settles it. A safe way to write it is: “She stepped back from adult films, and her current work focuses on media, podcasting and business.”

Annie Cruz Height, Weight and Appearance
Most reliable sources, including IMDb and FamousFix, list her height as 5 feet 6 inches (168 cm). One low-quality site says 5 feet 4 inches, which looks like an error. Her weight is usually given as about 107 to 113 pounds (49 to 51 kg). She has brown eyes and brunette hair. She also has tattoos and piercings, which are part of her public look.
Annie Cruz Husband, Boyfriend and Relationships
Marriage. IMDb says Cruz met her husband in June 2004. They married in January 2005 at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. The wedding was held in front of fans and industry guests. They divorced in 2006, less than two years later. FamousFix gives the divorce date as June 2006.
The name mix-up. Sources disagree on the husband’s name. FamousFix and GlobalMagzin name him as Jack Lawrence. IMDb’s biography uses a different name. Since sources conflict, many writers simply say “she was briefly married in 2005–2006.”
Boyfriend. Annie Cruz’s boyfriend status is not confirmed. Here is what has been reported:
- She began a relationship with Dr. Don Davidson in 2014, and they worked on business projects together.
- An older FamousFix entry says she was dating an Iraq war veteran, but it is undated.
- Other sites say she is single or “not known.”
Since she rarely shares personal news, no one can say for certain who she is dating right now. Anything more specific is a guess. Cruz has also spoken openly about her identity, and some sources describe her as pansexual.
Annie Cruz Net Worth
Annie Cruz’s net worth is hard to pin down. No one has verified her finances, and net worth sites use different guesses. Here is how the estimates compare.
| Source type | Estimate |
|---|---|
| Recent bio site (2026) | $1–2 million |
| Revenue-style estimate site | About $1.2–1.8 million per year (2016–2022), not total net worth |
| Wiki-style bio sites | $100,000 – $500,000 |
| Vip Actors | $40 billion (clearly false) |
A reasonable range: about $1 million to $2 million, with the caveat that it is only an estimate.
Where her income may come from:
- Film and modeling work
- Radio hosting
- Podcasts
- Dating coaching and business ventures
- Convention appearances and fan events
Be skeptical of any single number. It is better to give a range and say it is unverified.
Annie Cruz Hobbies and Interests
Cruz is open about being a pop culture fan. Her reported interests include:
- Cosplay and comic book conventions
- Collecting comics, with Batman as a favorite character
- Video games
- Weightlifting and hiking
- A vegan lifestyle (reported by one source)
These interests help explain why she built an audience outside her original industry, especially in wrestling and fan culture.
Why You See So Many Different Facts About Annie Cruz
If you have read several bios, you have probably noticed they disagree. A few reasons:
- Copied content. Many celebrity sites copy each other. One mistake spreads across dozens of pages.
- Templates. Some pages fill in the same headings for every celebrity and leave guesses where facts should go.
- Old data. Pages from 2020 or 2021 may still list outdated ages, jobs or relationship status.
- Stage names. She is credited as Annie Cruz, Annie Cruze and Anny Cruz, so records get mixed up.
- Few primary sources. Cruz keeps parts of her life private, so there is little first-hand information.
A good rule is to trust IMDb, her official website and verified social accounts first. Treat wiki-style pages and net worth sites as less reliable.
